The software application would be a great public service tool,  also easily promote area businesses and services.  The software uses Google maps to plot local Garage and Yard Sales, it then provides turn by turn directions to each Yard Sale.  New listings approval process is managed by an administrator through an email activation link (very easy to approve new listings).  Admins can view the full listing before approving it.

GeoCoding services are made freely available with a Google developer license with 1,000 GeoCoding calls available per day. When adding a Yard Sale, the location is plotted on a map and verified before the user submits the Yard Sale location. A weekly subscription list lets users get the Yard Sale list in their inbox and allows the webmaster to add a customized HTML formatted template. On the left-hand side of the site, users can enter their address and they will be able to see all yard sales in relation to their chosen location.  They can click through to get turn by turn driving directions starting from their location.  All major sections of the site are managed from one global settings file. This allows you to quickly customize the application to your local area.

If you would like to host this application with us, we offer a $69 per year hosting fee and provide some setup support.  Otherwise we are providing this as a free download without warranty or extended support.  It is highly recommend that you have some ASP.Net experience when setting up this application.
